Abstract
Latak is the story of Ka Tinong, an embittered owner of a tapayan and sells sukang Paombong. Once a popular comics illustrator, he is now seen by his neighbors as nothing but a grumpy old man. His life changes when a kid named Gabo helps him in the nipa juice. In the end, Ka Tinong realizes how he isolated himself and through Gabo’s help he was able to rediscover his real passion.
